Dr. Anthony Giaquinto received a B.S. and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. Before joining Loyola, he was a faculty member at Texas A & M University, Mississippi State University, and the University of Michigan. He has received excellence in teaching awards from both the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Giaquinto's research interests include quantum groups, algebraic deformation theory, homological algebra, non-commutative ring theory, and Lie theory.
