Biography

Dr. Andreas Deussen has graduated from Abitur in 1974. He has done his Studies of Medicine at the University of Duesseldorf during 1974 - 1981. He has done his Doctoral in 1982 from Duesseldorf university.

Research Interest

Cardiovascular physiology, circulatory and flow control mechanisms, interactions of flow and metabolism, purine metabolism, endothelial cell physiology, ischemia and reperfusion, integration of cellular and subcellular mechanisms into whole organ function
