Dr. Bauer is an associate professor in Department of Environmental & Occupational Health at the Colorado School of Public Health. She is a toxicologist that is interested in two central focus areas that are relevant to human health concerns, one for environmental research and one for basic cancer research, both of which generally focus on the mechanisms driving lung tumorigenesis and the associated inflammation. Prior to coming to Colorado, she was a faculty member in the Department of Pathobiology and Center for Integrative Toxicology at Michigan State University and maintained her own environmental and basic cancer laboratory.
