This approach is particularly promising in the realm of lung cancer treatment, where targeted therapies are designed to specifically address the unique genetic mutations driving the disease. Immunotherapy represents a revolutionary approach to treating lung cancer. By harnessing the body's immune system to identify and attack cancer cells, immunotherapy has demonstrated remarkable success in improving outcomes for certain lung cancer patients. Immune checkpoint inhibitors, a class of drugs used in immunotherapy, have shown efficacy in extending survival and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with advanced lung cancer.
