Big data has taken the attention of researchers recently as a consequence of using information and communication technology facility by individuals, purchase, banking and insurance sectors, hospitals, etc. Plenty of theoretical research in fundamental problems of big data, standardization of big data, and evolution of big data computing modes are being carried out. Similarly, technology development for format conversion of big data, big data transfer, real time performance of big data and processing of big data are also going on. Apart from the data processing and analytical aspects, researchers in the field of networks look into the networking demands like fast and reliable transmission of big data, energy-efficient, stable bandwidth provisioning, effective data transmission and traffic engineering schemes using Software Defined Networks (SDNs). Additionally focus on issues in accessing network services for big data including internet backbone, data centre networks, design consideration for big data networks are also being analyzed. Hence this presentation session will consider all issues, demands, services and design consideration with relevant applications of big data networks and also future trends for the same..
