Abstract :

Background: Breast reduction is one of the common procedures that is done every day. Indications for reduction include many aspects like aesthetic, functional and therapeutic. Therapeutic breast reduction for management of breast cancer adds functional and aesthetic results for many ladies. Wound healing time is important factor to receive adjuvant treatment. Many techniques were used for reduction. Wise pattern is one of the commonest methods for reduction. Other technique like non-vertical scar offers fewer wounds and fewer scars. Aim: of study is to compare between wise pattern (WP) and non-vertical (Horizontal) scar regarding result satisfaction, wound healing time and complications with focusing on wound complications.

Biography :

Dr Ahmed Elghazaly is a consultant breast surgeon & reconstructive & aesthetic surgeries. He finished MD degree in surgery in 2018. He also has Master degree and IMRCS of England in 2009. He is working in high volume oncology center (breast unit)…. He is doing wide spectrum of breast surgeries including oncoplastic, reconstructive & aesthetic With publications in breast surgery.
