The Journal of Insulin Resistance (JIR) is a refereed, clinically oriented journal covering the progress of insulin resistance disorders. Articles will focus on clinical care and advances in therapy for patients with insulin resistance disorders such as obesity, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, steato - non-alcoholic hepatitis, Alzheimer's dementia, sexual dysfunction and other related disorders. Insulin resistance includes pathophysiology, management, patient education, and treatment considerations for different patient populations. The journal will present original research, reviews, editorials, case studies and documents to distribute to patients. This will be of interest to physicians, clinical educators, nurse practitioners and other health professionals involved in the care of patients with insulin resistance disorders. Submissions in English (full article) will be considered for publication.
