Fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography and B ultrasound are the preferred diagnoses for diabetic retinopathy. This is further classified as mild, moderate and severe based on the presence of various decisive factors. Maintain regular exercise and a healthy diet, keep blood sugar within normal limits and prescribed drugs can be used in daily life to prevent diabetic retinopathy
