Contact Lens Peer-review Journals

Contact lenses are thin lenses that are placed directly on the surface of the eye. These are medical devices used for vision correction. Contact lenses correct vision better than conventional glasses, so they are preferred over glasses. Contact lenses are made of plastic polymer. Depending on the type of lens, the raw material differs. As hard contact lenses are made of a variant of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and soft contact lenses are made of a polymer such as polyhydroxyethyl methacrylate (pHEMA) which has hydrophilic qualities, which means that 'It can absorb water while retaining its shape and other optical functions. Peer review refers to the work carried out during the pre-selection of submitted manuscripts and funding requests. This process encourages authors to adhere to accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant discoveries, unjustified claims, unacceptable interpretations and personal opinions. Publications that have not been peer reviewed are likely to be viewed with suspicion by academics and professionals.
