Aims and Scope

Journal of Molecular and Genetic Medicine publishes exemplary peer-reviewed manuscripts directing aspects of molecular and genetic biomedical research. The Journal of Molecular and Genetic Medicine is the journal of biomedicine analysis of research conducted in the areas of molecular genetics- basic and applied. It aims at the remedy to the health-related problems faced by the developing nations, particular consideration will be given to articles on applied biomedical issues of the developing world, especially, research focussing on malaria, HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and microbial diseases at the molecular and genetic level.

» It is basically aimed at the Clinical Practitioners, medical/ health practitioners, students, professionals, researchers professional bodies and institutions.

» Journal of Molecular and Genetic Medicine accepts reviews and mini-reviews, research articles, short research reports, new methods and technologies, opinions on previously published literature and letters to the editor, meeting reports and commercial, patent and product news (inquiries to the Editor), online letters to the editors, brief comments that contributes to the previously published articles or other relevant findings in HILARIS SRL field.

» The journal provides a rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing and to disseminate the articles freely for research, teaching and reference purposes. The Journal aims at providing an efficient route to fast-track publication,within 21 days of manuscript submission if accepted. Furthermore, manuscripts will be made available online in their final form generally within 2 days of acceptance. All published articles will be assigned DOI provided by CrossRef and are under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License. This permits anyone to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source is appropriately cited. Journal of Molecular & Genetic Medicine supports the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing. Archived online in the transactions of the HILARIS SRL, which provides the international scientific community with immediate and permanent access to individual papers.

Community standards, rather than copyright law, will continue to provide the mechanism for enforcement of proper attribution and responsible use of the published work, as they do now.
