Applied Physics 2019: Fast screening of binary systems of phase change materials for thermal energy storage - Marie Duquesne - Bordeaux INP

    Marie Duquesne

The SUDOKET project aims to map, consolidate and disseminate Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) for the innovative building sector. Thermal energy storage is one of the key elements to optimize the use of available energy resources (especially renewable ones) and to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. Phase change materials (PCMs) used for the thermal energy storage are an important class of materials which substantially contribute to the efficient use and conservation of waste heat and solar energy. In this framework, our objective is to develop and study new biosourced phase change materials, able to compete with water as storage material and presenting improved performances in comparison with currently used PCM (i.e: low cost, high energy density, low ecological impact ???). Among organic PCMs, fatty acids (FAc), fatty alcohols (FAl) and sugar alcohols (SA) are promising candidates. In order to select the most suited binary systems of the latters, a screening step must to be performed. To establish the phase diagrams of materials, the most common methods used are the Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and the Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) but the determination of a reliable phase diagram via those standard methods is really time consuming and poorly adapted to screening procedures. An innovative method based on infrared thermography (IRT-method) was first developed in the framework of the European FP7 Research Project SAM.SSA (2012-2015) for the screening of SA-SA binary systems [1], then improved and adapted to binary systems presenting more complex phase diagrams with peritectic, metatectic transitions (FAc-FAc, FAc-FAl) [2]. IRT-method allows establishing their preliminary phase diagram in only a few hours instead of several weeks and was validated confronting the obtained results to data extracted from literature, to experimental data obtained using DSC and to values assessed by thermodynamical models.

Applied Physics 2019: The nonlinear BK system: Structure, stability and interaction of multidimensional solutions in complex dispersive media - Vasily Yu Belashov - Kazan Federal University

    Vasily Yu Belashov

The structure, stability and interaction of the multidimensional nonlinear waves and solitons forming on the lowfrequency branch of oscillations in complex dispersive media are studied analytically and numerically on the basis of the nonlinear Belashov-Karpman (BK) system which includes the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (GKP), the nonlinear schrodinger (NLS) and the derivative nonlinear Schrodinger (DNLS) classes of equations and takes into account the generalizations relevant to various complex physical media including space plasma, atmosphere, hydrosphere and other complex dispersive media, associated with the effects of high-order dispersion corrections, influence of dissipation and instabilities. This is consistent representation of both early known and new original results obtained by authors and also some generalizations in theory of the nonlinear waves and solitons in complex dispersive media. The stability analysis of solutions is based on study of transformational properties of the Hamiltonian of the system. The structure of possible multidimensional solutions is investigated using the methods of qualitative analysis of proper dynamical systems and analysis of the solutions??? asymptotics. The interaction of multidimensional solitons is studied numerically. So, we have considered the nonlinear wave processes in different complex physical media using general approach basing on the general BK system and have obtained the results on dynamics of the 2D and 3D solitons for different physical systems from uniform positions. Some applications of obtained results in plasmas and atmosphere are presented.

Applied Physics 2019: Thermodynamic potential in the spin polaron formulation - Marcielow Jocson Callelero - University of San Carlos

    Marcielow Jocson Callelero

The thermodynamic potential is calculated in this work using the linked cluster expansion theory in the spin polaron formulation. We implement this in the finite temperature (Matsubara) green???s function method in a representation, where holes are described as spinless fermions and spins as normal bosons. The spins are characterized by the hard core bosonic operators in linear spin wave theory by the way of the Holstein-Primakoff transformation. The hole-spin wave interaction in the Spin Polaron Hamiltonian resembles the classical polaron problem and is used as the interaction term in the S-matrix expansion. The cumulants in the expansion of the thermodynamic potential is obtained using the Feynman diagrammatic techniques and this is done for normal state cuprates without vertex corrections. This is expressed in terms of the first order spin wave green???s function and self-energy term.

Applied Physics 2019: A different comment at the rules of classical physics, quantum physics and general relativity to discover the secret of creation - Jafar Oshriyeh - Independent Researcher

    Jafar Oshriyeh

Statement in this article, we study the rules of classical physics, quantum physics and the theory of general relativity from different angles. We compare the rules of classical and quantum physics with the mathematical rules that created them by ourselves. If we look at the world around us from the perspective of creatures like computers, intelligent software and math basics then we will understand whether is there a creator in the world or not? And what is the secret of the creation of the universe is the diversity of the physics laws and the regularity and solidarity between them and finally how can we explain the nature of god? This article looks simple but different and interprets physics laws via new ways and compares the rules of mathematics with classic and modern physics and Einstein's general relativity and gives them existence to create new argues. It looks like this article looks at the rules of the universe from a new angle that nobody has ever looked at it and tries to find a meaningful relationship between the various laws of physics in the world. We present a new definition of time and eventually prove that the world is designed and planned by god.

    Naghshara Hamid

In this examination, the impacts of Nb2O5 expansion on the BPSCCO superconducting framework were researched by Xbeam diffraction (XRD), checking electron microscopy (SEM) and DC electrical resistivity (R-T). Tests of this investigation
were set up by utilizing the notable traditional strong state response strategy which is demonstrated by the equation of Bi1.65Pb0.35Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+? +x Nb2O5 (x=0, 0.1, 02, 0.3, 0.35).
