Zvi H. Perry has received his M.D in the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, During the period of 1999-2006. Currently, he is working as a surgical resident in the Soroka University Medical Center in the southern Israel. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as a surgical chief resident in the years 2012-3. His research has included the field of bariatric surgery and surgical epidemiology. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as: The Moshe Prywas Award for outstanding contribution to medical education, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (2005). He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Canadian Family physician & European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, an expert Reviewers for journals like Medical Teacher. He has authored chapters in books, like Zvi H. Perry M.D., M.A. and Uri Netz M.D. Obesity and surgical treatments in Sheiner, A. (Ed.). Obesity in Pregnancy: A Comprehensive Guide (Nova Science Publishers, Inc, NY, USA) and Zvi H. Perry, Uri Netz , Solly Mizrahi, Leonid Lantsberg, Eliezer Avinoach and Boris Kirshtein. He is a member of the European endoscopic society and Member of the Endocrine Society. He has honoured as a research fellow in the Surgical Research lab, Tufts University, Boston MA.
