U. Deniz Dincer received her MD, 1986 from Ankara University School of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey and her PhD, 1995 Ankara University from Pharmacology. She completed her training in USA (Indiana University School of Medicine Departments of Pharmacology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology) 1997, 1999-2000. She worked Ankara University School of Pharmacy, Ankara, Turkey between 2001-2005 as an associate professor. She also worked LSUHSC, New Orleans, USA and IUPUI, Indiana, USA as a faculty between 2005-2010. Between 2010 and 2012 she was department chair of Pharmacology, Ufuk University School of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey. She is working right now as a professor, Department Chair of Pharmacology, Bezmialem University School of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey. U. Deniz Dincer research interests ae based on delineating mechanisms of cardiac β-adrenoceptor and ryanodine receptor dysfunction in diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome. Hematopoietic and endothelial progenitor cells. Seeding Collaborative Interdisciplinary Team Science in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
