Salvatore Andrea Mastrolia

Biography

Dr Salvatore Andrea Mastrolia has received his degree in Medicine and Surgery in the University of Bari "Aldo Moro". He is currently a resident in the fourth year in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the same Institution and is doing his fellowship in Advanced Obstetric Training in Soroka University Medical Center (Beer Sheva, Israel). His field of research include the study about implication of inflammation in the pathogenesis of preterm parturition and the study of the other pregnancy complications (IUGR, preeclampsia, fetal demise, recurrent abortion, placental abruption). He is serving as an editorial member of several journals like the Journal of Clinical Case Studies, the Austin Journal of Urology, the International Journal of Gynecology and Clinical Practices and expert Reviewers for journals like the World Journal of Surgical Oncology and Peer J. He is coauthor of several papers indexed on national and international journals.
