Biography

Mary Geitona is an associate professor in economic analysis of social policy and health economics in the School of Social Policy at the University of Peloponnese. She is the founder of the Hellenic Society for Pharmacoeconomics (HELSPOR) and since 1990 is the President of HELSPOR and editor-in-Chief of the Greek journal âÂÂPharmacoeconomiaâÂÂ. Additionally, she is the founder and the president of the Greek ISPOR Chapter. She was also member of the congress planning committee of 11th ISPOR European Conference taking place in Athens, in 2008, and co-chair in the ISPOR research review committee.
