Biography

Marcos Perez-Losada research focuses mainly on evolutionary questions related to invertebrate biodiversity, dynamics of human infectious diseases and host-microbe interactions. He also interested in comparing methods of phylogenetic and population genetic analysis and data types to study evolutionary processes at both the species and population levels. Jis interest in invertebrate biodiversity centers around mollusks, crustaceans and earthworms, and encompasses the study of their taxonomic and morphological diversity, systematics, phylogeography and conservation.
