Dr. Hirose has received his MD in Nagasaki University School of Medicine in 1990, and PhD in Juntendo University School of Medicine in 2005. He underwent general surgery residency at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York and additional fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and Hahnemann University Hospital. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor in Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. His research has focused on clinical research included adult cardiac surgery and mechanical circulatory support. He has been published more than 200 peer review papers, and serving editorial board in more than 20 cardiovascular related journals. He teaches students and residents and received teaching award from Thomas Jefferson University.
