Biography

Dr. Gayenell S. Magwood is Associate Professor in the College of Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her Ph.D. in Nursing Science from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Nursing from George Mason University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina; a Bachelor of Arts from Winthrop University and completed post-graduate work in Public Health. Dr. Magwood holds a certificate in Faith Community Nursing and completed a Certificate in Distance Education Program (CDEP) for online teaching.
