Dr. Chunyan Cai received her undergraduate degree from University of Science and Technology of China and was awarded her PhD degree in Biostatistics from University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston. During her PhD study, she was a graduate research assistant in Biostatistics Department at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her PhD thesis is about Bayesian adaptive designs for early phase clinical trials. In 2012, she joined the faculty at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston as an Assistant Professor. Her research interests include Bayesian adaptive clinical trial design, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, statistical methods in epidemiology, missing data and meta-analysis.
