Dr. Attiya Haroon worked as a Research Assistant in the First Department of Internal Medicine, Control and Prevention of Infectious Diseases. My work responsibilities included but not limited to hospital and laboratory data collection, organisation and analysis; Genotyping of various species of Legionella using rep-PCR, mip-PCR and analysis of data with "diversity database fingerprinting software package" ; Study effects of different cytokines on the intracellular growth of Legionella using cancerous cells and mammalian macrophages;
