Improving Heavy-duty Vehicle Energy Efficiency through Connectivity

Improvements to transportation energy use have often focused on the search for a replacement for the internal combustion engine. Currently, several viable alternatives have emerged and research continues to look more deeply at the benefits to the different energy production options. In addition, each of these options can be more efficiently used when paired with connected vehicle structures. In this commentary, the potential impacts of connectivity on the energy efficiency of heavy-duty vehicles are explored.

Data Analytics in Real Estate: How Zillow.Com Uses Social Media Information

This article is on teaching user-friendly web design: A case study on in the real estate industry. The previous article discussed the importance of web design to help a business reach customers. The extension of this principle is a company’s social media presence. With the boom in sales in 2021, the real estate market is experiencing unprecedented volume and quick turnaround. A contributing factor to this is the ease of information access across online platforms and is a prime example of how to capitalize on social media to increase traffic and interest in available properties. The use of analytics allows them and other real estate agencies to use the data received to target customers and also provide users with data visualization to help them in their search.
