Menopause occurs naturally which can cause many changes in your body when a woman's ovaries run out of functioning eggs, loss of estrogen is believed to be the cause of many of the symptoms associated with menopause. There are three stages of menopause they are perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause. The signs and symptoms of menopause are: irregular periods, vaginal dryness, hot flashes, chills, night sweats, sleep problems, mood changes, weight gain and slowed metabolism. Menopause causes many changes to your skin where the body stops making as much collagen, you lose some fat under your skin and your skin's elasticity drops. That, combined with dryness caused by hormonal changes, can cause sagging especially around the neck, jawline, and cheeks and fine lines and wrinkles.
