A fracture is the medical phrase for a broken bone. They occur when the physical force exerted on the bone is stronger than the bone itself.When an object breaks into two parts or pieces or gets separated in two distinct parts due to stress then that is the situation which is known as fracture. There are two distinct types of fracture; they are brittle fracture and ductile fracture. It also can be a bone fracture, ligament fracture, etc. It can be diagnosed by x ray or other imaging techniques. A bone fracture is mostly treated with a cast and splint. The distal neurologic and vascular status must be clinically estimate and documented before and after realignment and splinting.
