Airline companies can also be vulnerable to criminal activities that may lead to loss of passenger’s private information, loss of aircraft or destruction of properties by criminals. It is imperative for security professionals to protect users on a large scale and begin to handle existing vulnerabilities in the aviation industry. This paper focuses on the electronic crimes in the aviation industry, in particular, those that may lead to loss of passenger’s information and properties and jeopardize airlines business activities or loss of properties such as destruction of planes.
