Biography

Qingjin Peng is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manitoba, Canada. He received his BSc and MSc Degrees from Xian Jiaotong University, China, and Doctorate from University of Birmingham, UK. His research areas cover virtual manufacturing, sustainable product design, system modeling and simulation, and applications of industrial engineering techniques in healthcare systems. He has published over 150 refereed papers in international journals and conferences. He is a registered professional engineer and members of ASME, CSME, SME.
