Xiao received her Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Stony Brook University. She then joined Lawrence Berkeley National Lab as a postdoctoral research scientist. She has filed several patents and published many papers on top-rated peer reviewed journals. Currently, Xiao works at Pall Corporation, part of Danaher Corporation, as a Senior Scientist, leading the research and development of innovative filtration membranes and devices to improve the quality of water and to improve people’s life.
