Biography

I received M.sc Biotechnology degree from Bangalore University Bangalore in 2006. After that, from June 2007 to January 2009 in Biopharmaceutical group at Avesthagen Private Limited Bangalore, My research activity focusses on the Protein Purification and Filtration. In the meantime from February 2009 to January 2010, I was working as a JRF in Calcutta University, working in the area of Transgenic Rice development. Since March (2010-2016), I was working as a Research scholar at School of Medical Science and Technology in IIT Kharagpur under the supervision of Dr Mahitosh Mandal. My Ph.D. thesis is based on Proteomics-based identification of Early Detection Biomarker and Oncogenic role of S100A7 in Oral Cancer. My research work is focused in the area of cancer biology, early detection biomarker development through proteomics approach and cancer cell signalling studies. My current work as post doc is dealing with strategy for metabolome identification by systematic stable isotope labeling experiments and I will be doing on Alzheimer and cancer disease. The method developed will be applied as a new approach will be come out for the development of new drugs. Publications on high impact factor journals like Cancer Letters ,Tumor Biology, Sci Rep, Br J Cancer, PLoS One etc alone testify the importance of the work carried out by me and my contribution in the field as evidenced by citation index, 173 and h index 6 (Google Scholar).
